Event Details

RiverQuest seeks out the changing leaves this fall on our Fall Foliage Tours aboard the historic vessel Discovery.   Two-hour tours will be offered on Saturday 10/18 and Sunday 10/19 from 2:00-4:00pm each day. 

This event has a maximum capacity of 35 ticketed passengers.

From the upper deck, we'll get a world-class view of the brilliant colors of fall in the river valleys, and explore the science of autumn leaves.  Autumn is also a good time to spot migrating birds.  Bring your camera to capture the sights. Binoculars and bird guides will be available.  Seasonal treats and beverages are included in this special tour.   This seasonal program is appropriate for ages 5 and up.   

Fall Foliage Tours sail rain or shine, and dressing for the weather is recommended!   The inside cabin of the boat is climate-controlled, so there's always a place to warm up.   Adult tickets are $20. Tickets for Seniors (62+) and Children 17 and under are just $10.

Please note: there is a $3 charge for parking in Carnegie Science Center's parking lot.

Any remaining available tickets will be available for purchase dockside 15 minutes prior to the event.
